Inge to report with catchers

Monday, January 28th, 2008

This is some of the greatest off-season news for me and it should be for most Tigers fans. Brandon Inge, who had moved from catching to play third base, has agreed to give catching another shot. He will report to spring training with the rest of the catching crew February 14th. (more…)

CNMSBL Spring Training has started

Sunday, January 20th, 2008

That’s right, my mens baseball league is back. After getting knocked out of the first round of the playoffs last year, the team decided to start spring training early - and yesterday was day one. At our beautiful North Shore Country Day facility, the Athletics have everything we need: a tee, a cage, indoor room to throw, and a gym. I mainly worked out on the tee, getting hand-eye back and easing into things. Slow and steady is my new approach into the 2008 season in hopes to eliminate injuries like last year. Hail, Hail, the Gang’s All Here
June 16, 2007

This is the best photo of 2007. Our closest friends came from all over the country for Travis and Marie’s wedding. In a very Sgt. Pepper-esque shot, there’s not a blink or a frown on anyone’s face. You can’t Photoshop a moment like this. High school, college, and everyday-life friends all at one event, all in one room, all with one lens.

Thank you to all who have been a part of my 2007 memories. Whether you’re in a top 10 photo or not, you’re still a huge part of where I’ve been, where I am, and where I’ll be down the road. I look forward to 2008 and all it has to offer. I wish everyone a very happy new year!
