Mace’s Place

This past Friday was the company holiday party and it was a great time. People snapped out of their daytime shell and turned it on for an all-out drunken blast at Shaw’s Crab House. You name it, the company paid for it. The waitstaff wandered with trays of apps, wine, and champagne. The sushi and oyster bars were stocked throughout the night. Two full service bars kept beers, “martini shots,” Washington apples, and other tasty beverages sliding down my throat. And to top it all off, the dance floor opened up half-way through the night and I did my best to pull everyone in. My marketing co-worker - danced with me. Attorney’s secretaries - danced with me. Firm partners - danced with me. Even the shy librarian girl - I got her out on the dance floor.
